Pair it with milk for a creamy twist, and you’ll find yourself hooked.

For those looking to indulge their sweet tooth, their brown sugar gelato with chocolate bits and dried fruit is a heavenly concoction that will have you savoring every bite. The cinnamon cocoa is another must-try, perfectly balancing sweetness with the comforting warmth of cinnamon. For a delightful snack, the chocolate chip scone promises a taste of home-baked goodness that complements your drink choice beautifully. As Christine Okinawa shared, the selection available is both extensive and delightful, leaving patrons with numerous tempting options.

But it's not just the drinks and desserts that make Okinawa Cacao special; it’s the stories and experiences shared within its walls. In A Nutshell: -What a discovery finding Okinawa Cacao! -If you enjoy chocolate, come here especially if you are traveling or living on the island. -It's tucked away in a rural neighborhood, but they have a decent sized parking lot. -Being that it's a Monday, I was able to enjoy some solitude without any other customers which adds to the ambiance. -The 2 story building is a tiny factory + cafe. -They have free wifi too. -I ordered their Awamori Mousse paired w/ their 70% cacao which I believe is sourced from Africa. -I feel an intense rush of energy after eating & drinking the delicacies. Overall, this was a really nice place to spend some time while adventuring.

I love it. I’m a coffee person so I have never thought that I would like hot chocolate. I like to have a piece of chocolate dessert though. However after I’ve tried a chocolate drink from this lovely shop, I have fallen in love with it. Wow it’s just pure chocolate no sugar at all. It didn’t taste bitter. I recommend you to try it with milk. You will fell like you’re sinking into the chocolate pool . And plus their chocolate cKe is also wonderful too. I ended up buying with cacao nips . You can’t resist these nice treats. There are more other chocolate products that you can choose. All these are directly from cacao farms in Okinawa run by the shop owner. They also run factory beside the cafe. I bet the reason why this chocolate drink is so nice because they are fresh picked up from cacao farm. I strongly recommend to try it. You won’t regret even though you love coffee.

When you walk up to this cafe you can smell the delicious cocoa beans. It is a light filled high ceiling cafe with both upstairs and down. Huge industrial kitchen on the first floor and so many treats to choose from. I got the brown sugar gelato with chocolate bits and dried fruit and it was heavenly. The cinnamon cocoa was delicious and not too sweet. I got the chocolate chip scone which was rather plain compared to the other treats. I decided to also order the strawberry chocolate terrine because I was disappointed with the scone and I’m so glad I did! It was chocolate velvety heaven! Definitely check this place out if you are at Okuma or up north exploring. I highly recommend it!!!

Managed to book in an cacao farm tour and chocolate making experience with Okinawa Cacao. They were very accommodating with the selected date and allowed me to make a change to the date as well. Okinawa Cacao is located in a quiet neighborhood, off the main roadway. We were taken to a private tour of the farm to see the cacao trees and learn about how the trees are kept and grown. We returned to the cafe and were given the necessary ingredients and tools to make a chocolate bar and chocolate milk. Very fun experience and the tour guide made it fun. Highly recommended.

I don't know if there is a better place to enjoy cacao on earth than Okinawa Cacao. The sweetest staff and the best location in the middle of Okinawa main Island. The house is factory and cacao shop in one and you can choose either coffee or cacao hot or cold. The first choice is the cinnamon cacao which is the classic beverage. I also tried the coffee. The Desert which can be ice cream or cake are super tasty and fruity, one of the best icecreams I ever had for sure. The cacao was soooo thick and full of taste you couldn't even imagine. The owner also gave us a tiny bit of original Okinawa cacao which had a very distinct aroma which I loved! JUST GO HERE PLS

Pleasantly surprised to find this GEM on our drive back to Nago. It is located in a residential area but drive slow and you will be able to find it easily. They have a small menu, mainly desserts and drinks. We had a hot chocolate and pineapple terrine. Both wonderful and rich in flavour. Don’t miss this place if you are around the area!
